Lilac

Lilac marches to her own drummer. She’s a zany, independent girl with the soul of an adventurer. Those innocent eyes belie her deviousness. Given an opportunity, through guile and cunning, she will slip outside the confines of our fenced pasture, and gleefully canter off down the road to tour the neighborhood. With not a sensible bone in her body, she has no regard for her own safety but lives in the felicity of the moment. No amount of cajoling or offerings of grain will lure her home. But she’ll turn and race back when struck by the realization that she is flying solo.

Lilac has a black head with a frothy gray top knot that looks rather like a mohawk, and a “milk mustache” adorns her cute little snout. Her coat, a multi-tonal, medium sort of gray, is ultra soft, fluffy and open. We think the wool around her ruff looks like a feather boa, adding an aura of glamor which she carries off with great panache. Lilac demonstrates her love of attention with helicopter-like rotations of the tail.
